Keyboard Orchestra ~
It often happens that after completing Level One and Two, students are eager to continue but are not really ready or interested in private lesson and that is where Keyboard Orchestra comes in. It is designed for young musicians who'd like to jam with the group. Through repertoire of popular songs, students will learn different piano styles such as; classical, jazz, blues and pop while playing together as an ensemble. We will continue to learn how to play with both hands simultaneously, further expanding our ability to play melody and accompaniment at the same time. As well as continuing the “do, re, mi” solfege method, we will introduce using letter names to identify the notes.

Do Re Mi for Ukulele (Minimum age 5 years old) 45 minutes
Why the Ukulele? Well, as small as it is, it is a real instrument that kids don't have any trouble holding, handling and playing. Because of it's size, finding frets, strings and playing basic chords becomes manageable and very enjoyable for 5 year olds.Beside strumming patterns, and basic musical theory we will be learning favorite children songs that are fun and easy to grasp. Students will cover Ukulele Adventure in Hawaii - Book and CD.

The book is coloring story with music theory sections teaching five different chords, note values, strumming patterns and playing melodies on the first string. The CD contains 11 traditional songs that blend together with story line.
